Brewmaster and business-owner Pete Hilgeman lives and breathes craft beer making. He approached me in 2016 with plans to start a secondary company as a way to experiment with new ideas.
The concept for the logo was inspired by Prohibition-era speakeasy lounges and underground passages. Pete was looking for something fun and light-hearted, yet moody and unique.
The Lost Tunnel brand includes brewing experiments such as raspberry-infused ales, jalapeno chocolate beer and peanut butter-flavored stouts. Design work includes can & bottle designs, stickers, apparel and posters.
